ALL AMERICAN PRORODEO SERIES
The PRCA and the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo committee are pleased to announce the formation of the All American ProRodeo Series, previously known as the Heartland Series.
- It is effective immediately and began with the 2010 rodeo season
- Every PRCA Rodeo with the total added money of $30,000 or less is included in the series. Co-Sanctioned Canadian rodeos that qualify will also be included in the series.
- Additional added money for the steer roping or to make the team roping purse equal for headers and heelers will not be included in the $30,000 added-money total
- Contestants earn a point for every dollar won at All American ProRodeo Series events
- 50 bonus points awarded for each series rodeo competed at (must compete in at least one go-round)
- Top 30 contestants in each event will compete at the championship event
- Must attend a minimum of 30 All American ProRodeo Series events to qualify for the championship event
- The Championships payoff will be $300,000 in money added by the PRCA and $150,000 added by the Heart O’ Texas Fair and Rodeo host committee, plus the entry fees of $250 paid by each contestant
- The All American ProRodeo Series Championships are slated for October 7-16, 2010 in Waco, Texas
- Money won at the championship event in Waco will count towards 2011 rodeo qualifications but will not count towards qualification for the 2010 NFR
