Jones … In addition to steer wrestling, also competed in team roping and tie-down roping at the University of Wyoming … Graduated from Killdeer (N.D.) High School, where he played football and basketball; he was a quarterback and defensive back in football and was named to the all-region defensive team  … Favorite rodeo is the Pendleton (Ore.)
