Defeated Cody DeMoss by $797 for the world title with $226,887. Won the Justin Boots Championships (Omaha, Neb.); the Ellensburg (Wash.) Rodeo; the Clovis (Calif.) Rodeo; the New Mexico Stampede (Rio Rancho, N.M.) and the Rodeo de Santa Fe (N.M.). Co-champion at the Grand National Rodeo (San Francisco, Calif.); the Santa Maria (Calif.) Elks Rodeo and the Evanston (Wyo.) Cowboy Days. 
• 2011: Won four rounds of the Wrangler NFR and placed in four other rounds on his way to earning $241,274 and finishing second in the world standings. Set NFR records for saddle bronc riding earnings with $160,962 and average with 848.5 points on 10 head. Won the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo; the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (Oklahoma City); at Utah's Own Rodeo at the Utah State Fair (Salt Lake City, Utah); the Strawberry Days Rodeo (Pleasant Grove, Utah) and the Cassia County Fair & Rodeo (Burley, Idaho). Co-champion at the Cache County Fair and Rodeo (Logan, Utah)
• 2010: Qualified for the Wrangler NFR when Rod Hay had to withdraw due to injury and made the most of his opportunity by placing in eight of 10 rounds to finish fifth in the average and jump from 16th to fifth in the final world standings with $149,834. Won Round 5 with an 89.5-point ride on Burch Rodeo's Lunatic Fringe. Won the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (Pocatello, Idaho); the Lehi (Utah) Round-Up; the Fort Bend County Fair and Rodeo (Rosenberg, Texas); the Silver State Stampede (Elko, Nev.); the Dodge Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo (Ogden, Utah) and the Evanston (Wyo.) Cowboy Days; co-champion of the Ski Hi Stampede (Monte Vista, Colo.), sharing the title with his older brother Alex  
• 2009: Won the Dodge Wilderness Circuit Finals Rodeo (Ogden, Utah); the Home of Champions (Red Lodge, Mont.); the Black Hills Round-Up (Belle Fourche, S.D.); the Central Wyoming Fair & Rodeo (Casper); the Ogden (Utah) Pioneer Days Rodeo; the Yuma (Colo.) 5-9, 170…Wife, Aubrey; daughters Rylee and Ivy; son, Kruz ... Jesse is one of 13 siblings and one of seven brothers: Calvin, Cody, Alex, Jake, Jesse, Spencer and Stuart…Jesse’s twin brother Jake is two minutes older …The Wright brothers’ parents are Bill and Evelyn … Jesse’s older brother Cody claimed the world championship in saddle bronc riding in 2008 and 2010 … The Wrights broke new ground in 2014 when four of them (Jesse, Jake, Cody and Spencer) all qualified for the WNFR in the same year ... A documentary crew from Southern Utah University followed Cody’s quest for a world title and produced the DVD Born To Ride. The SUU crew was back in 2014 to do a piece on the four Wright brothers in WNFR competition … Jesse travels to rodeos with his brothers, Cody and Jake and Cody's son, Rusty … His favorite bucking horse is Calgary Stampede’s Cool Alley … One of his favorite stops is the Ogden (Utah) Pioneer Days Rodeo … His favorite place to eat is Subway … When Jesse in not competing in rodeo, he helps his dad take care of his family’s cattle
