5-11, 165 … Wife, Cassidy (married Nov. 16, 2013), twin daughters, Cru and Quincee (born Jan. 30, 2016) … Got involved in rodeo when he was in junior high. After watching his cousin and neighbor ride, he decided he “just needed to try it out” and took an immediate liking to it. At the College of Southern Idaho, he competed in all three roughstock events, making the College National Finals Rodeo in bareback and saddle bronc riding … Grew up in Salem, Utah, and attended Spanish Fork (Utah) High School … Mentored by three-time world champion all-around cowboy Lewis Feild … Entered the 2008 season with a rotator cuff injury and competed in pain the entire season; suffered a dislocation at the Wrangler NFR and underwent shoulder reconstruction surgery Dec. 19 in Salt Lake City … Took part in a rodeo-themed Goodwill Military Tour of Afghanistan Feb. 27-March 3, 2009, staged by Pro Sports MVP of Colorado Springs, Colo.
