• 2005: Won or tied for first place in three of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR, winning the third round with an 8.0-second run, the fifth round with a time of 7.1 and tying for first in the ninth round with a 7.6. Won the Kitsap County Fair & Rodeo (Bremerton, Wash.); the Sonora (Texas) Outlaw Pro Rodeo; the Last Chance Stampede and Fair (Helena, Mont.); the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo (Casper, Wyo.); the Home of Champions (Red Lodge, Mont.); the Nacogdoches (Texas) Pro Rodeo and the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Round title at the Clark County Fair & Rodeo (Logandale, Nev.). Co-champion at the Medicine (Alberta) Hat Stampede and the St. Paul (Ore.) Graduated from Giddings High, where he played baseball (shortstop/pitcher) and basketball (point guard) all four years; he was All-Central Texas in both sports. He didn't pursue scholarship opportunities in those sports because he had determined to concentrate on a career in rodeo ...
