Rodeo and the West Texas Fair & Rodeo (Abilene), with Allen Bach; won the Cowboy Capital of the World Pro Rodeo (Stephenville), with York Gill, won the Rusk County PRCA Rodeo (Henderson, Texas) and was co-champion at the Southwest Arkansas District Livestock Show & Rodeo (Hope), with Arky Rogers. 5-8, 160 ... Wife Lacy (married Nov. 5, 2011); daughter, Libby … His given name is Luke Swann Brown III. His parents, Luke Jr. and Debbie, own and operate a construction company in Rock Hill, S.C., located about a half hour south of Charlotte. Luke’s brothers, Jay and Cody, also work for the company … Although his home is in South Carolina, Brown has a place in Stephenville, Texas, just down the road from 2007 and 2012 World Team Roping (Heading) Champion Chad Masters … Enjoys fishing, reading the Bible, all types of music, eating at Outback Steakhouse and any Italian food … Roped with four-time World Champion Team Roper Allen Bach during the second half of the 2007 season and called the experience “the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me”… Lists Jake Barnes, Speed Williams, Chad Masters and Bach as his major influences ... Brown's 2008 appearance in Las Vegas made him the first contestant from South Carolina to qualify for the Wrangler NFR since steer wrestler Charles Thompson in 1977
