• 2016: Won Round 5, co-champion in Round 9, and placed in six rounds to rank 15th at the Wrangler NFR. Climbed from 15th to fourth in the world standings with $194,212. Won the Buffalo Bill Rodeo (North Platte, Neb.), the West of The Pecos (Texas) Rodeo, the Old Fort Days Rodeo (Fort Smith, Ark.), the Helldorado Days Rodeo (Las Vegas, Nev.), the Coleman (Texas) PRCA Rodeo, the Chisholm (Okla.) Trail Stampede, the Bandera (Texas) Pro Rodeo, the Johnson County Sheriff's Posse (Cleburne, Texas), the Last Chance Stampede (Helena, Mont.) and the Comal County Fair & Rodeo (New Braunfels, Texas). Won the all-around and tie-down roping at the Killdeer (N.D.) Frontier Days, the Wrangler Champions Challenge (Logandale, Nev.), the Yellowstone River Round-Up (Billings, Mont.), the Lehi (Utah) Round-Up, the Pueblo (Colo.) Wrangler Champions Challenge, and the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo (Stephenville, Texas). Co-champion the Horse Heaven Round-Up (Kennewick, Wash.). Finished sixth in the world standings with $186,281
• 2014: Won at least a share of Rounds 1, 4 and 6 to rank 15th in his Wrangler NFR debut and placed in one other round. Won the St. Paul (Ore.) Rodeo; the Guymon (Okla.) Pioneer Days Rodeo; the SandHills Stock Show Rodeo (Odessa, Texas); the Buc Days ProRodeo (Corpus Christi, Texas) and the Young County Rodeo (Graham, Texas). Co-champion at the IPE & Stampede (Armstrong, British Columbia); the Hugo (Okla.) PRCA Rodeo and the Cassia County Fair & Rodeo (Burley, Idaho). Finished sixth in the world standings with $141,268
• 2013: Won the Hugo (Okla.) PRCA Rodeo; the Yellowstone River Roundup (Billings, Mont.); the Hellzapoppin Rodeo (Buckeye, Ariz.) and co-champion at the Missoula (Mont.) Stampede. Won the second round of Spanish Fork (Utah) Fiesta Days Rodeo in 6.7 seconds. Finished 43rd in the world standings and third in the rookie standings behind Caleb Smidt and Jesse Clark with $30,745

6-0, 180 … Single … Father, Marty Sr. (deceased), was a Texas state high school rodeo champion and competed for Tarleton State University (the school offers a scholarship bearing his name). Mother, Angie, also competed in rodeo; uncle, J.W. Hampton, won the 1994 Texas high school team roping championship with Trevor Brazile; aunt, J.J. Hampton, is a 17-time WPRA champion … Cody Ohl and Trevor Brazile are among his mentors … Graduated from Huckabay High School (Stephenville, Texas), where he played basketball for four years as a center/forward … Still plays basketball every chance he gets and enjoys hunting
