6-0, 180 … Single … Parents, Monte and Tracy Downare, own Elk Mountain Cattle Company in Hartsel, Colo.; brothers, Myles and Monte; sisters, Mindy (married to PRCA bareback rider Tim Shirley) and Maggie (married to PRCA saddle bronc rider Travis Nevius). Elder brother, Monte, is also a PRCA bareback rider; they live across the street from each other in Hartsel, Colo.  All of the siblings help out on the 40,000-acre family ranch, which has 800 cattle and 500 bison … Travels with Monte and brothers-in-law Tim Shirley and Travis Nevius… They call themselves the "Band of Brothers" ... Received welding certificates from Frank Phillips College (Borger, Texas) … Graduated from South Park High School (Fairplay, Colo.), in a senior class of 21 … Enjoys hunting and fishing … Started in rodeo in 1996 … Lists former Bareback Riding World Champion Marvin Garrett as his rodeo idol … Favorite film is Lonesome Dove, favorite meal is Mexican food and favorite rodeo is the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo
