Has one brother, Sam, who is 10 years older … Didn’t get too involved in rodeo until his senior year in high school and then went to college on an academic and rodeo scholarship … Trains steer wrestling horses and some team roping horses ... Travels with Roger Anderson, Stockton Graves and Jason Lahr … Spud is a nickname given to him by uncle Roy and his father. He was named after his grandfather, but they decided that Spud fit him better than Arthur Floyd … Greatest rodeo moment was winning RodeoHouston in 2001 because it was the last time in the Astrodome and was in front of a huge crowd … Rodeo idols are uncle Roy Duvall and John W. Jones Jr.
