• 2007: Won La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (Tucson, Ariz.); finished third in the PRCA bull riding rookie standings behind Brad Pierce and Clayton Savage and 35th in the final world standings with $28,500. Elliott suffered a head-to-horn collision with Flying U Rodeo’s Werewolf in the Days of ’47 Rodeo (Salt Lake City) in July – two days after his 19th birthday – that required 10 hours of reconstructive surgery at LDS Hospital. The blow broke all the bones on the right side of Elliott’s face from his forehead to his jaw, knocked out teeth and severed an artery. Elliott did not return to competition for 20 months and 14 more procedures have since been required

Older brother, Zack, is also a PRCA bull rider who finished 33rd in the 2009 world standings; sisters, Nicole and Annie … Tag was coached at College of Southern Idaho by three-time World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Shawn Davis and Steve Birnie … Graduated from Bear River High School (Garland, Utah), where he competed on the wrestling team, making it to the state meet all four years. He finished second in the state twice and third once … Enjoys hunting and helping his dad work the family cattle herd in Thatcher, Utah … Travels with Chris Roundy and Dustin Larsen … Favorite rodeo is the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo … Favorite movies are Clint Eastwood Westerns.
