6-0, 180 … Father, Craig, is a retired Texas State Trooper; mother, Becky, is a retired deputy director of rehabilitation programs for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and teaches at Sam Houston State; grandfather, Gerald Price, rode bulls and bareback horses in the 1950s and 1960s and also rodeoed at SHSU … Cheers for the Houston Texans and Texas Longhorns … Uncle, Greg Sampson, was drafted No. 6 overall in the 1972 NFL draft and played left tackle for the Houston Oilers from 1972-79. Sampson was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1978 blocking for Earl Campbell … Price started rodeoing in high school, riding bulls and bareback horses … Rodeo idols are Kelly Wardell and Ty Murray … Works for parents’ bulldozer and tractor service company when he’s not rodeoing ...
