• 2013: Won Round 10 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with a time of 3.4 seconds and placed in four other rounds. Won the Ram Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo (Rock Springs, Wyo.); the Horse Heaven Round-Up Rodeo (Kennewick, Wash.) and the Lewiston (Idaho) Round-Up. Co-champion at the Strawberry Days Rodeo (Pleasant Grove, Utah) and the Laramie (Wyo.) Jubilee Days. Finished 11th in the world standings with $100,358
• 2012: Won Round 3, split the win in Round 8 and placed in two other rounds at the Wrangler NFR to finish ninth in the average. Won the Justin Boots Championships (Omaha, Neb.); the Justin Boots Playoffs (Puyallup, Wash.); the Cody (Wyo.) Stampede; the Clovis (Calif.) • 2009: Won the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo;  the Rancho Mission Viejo Rodeo (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.); the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Oakley City, Utah); the Livingston (Mont.) Round-Up and the Gooding (Idaho) Pro Rodeo. Finished 26th in the world standings with earnings of $42,770
• 2008: Set regular-season earnings record for steer wrestling with $133,685, but tore pectoral muscle in the first round of the Wrangler NFR and had to withdraw. Underwent surgery on Dec. 17 in Dallas to reattach the muscle to the bone. Won RodeoHouston; the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo; the Cody (Wyo.) Stampede; the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo (Amarillo, Texas) and the Royal Gorge Rodeo (Canon City, Colo.); co-champion at the Steamboat Springs (Colo.) Pro Rodeo Series-July 26. Finished seventh in the world standings
• 2007: Won Round 1 of the Wrangler NFR with a time of 3.5 seconds and placed in six of 10 rounds; finished sixth in the world standings with $139,293. Won the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Championship (Dallas); the Oakdale (Calif.) Saddle Club Rodeo; the Rowell Ranch Rodeo (Hayward, Calif.) and the Santa Maria (Calif.) Elks Rodeo. Co-champion at the Moses Lake (Wash.) Roundup
• 2006: Finished ninth in the world with $107,925; placed in four of 10 rounds, finishing eighth in the average race while earning $34,972. 6-1, 225 … Wife, Linsay (married May 23, 2009), is the granddaughter of Flying U Rodeo Company founder Cotton Rosser; she has been the head rodeo coach at Otero Junior College (La Junta, Colo.) since 2009 … Hobbies include riding young horses, playing cards and hunting … Played football at the University of Northern Colorado for four years before entering ProRodeo full time. He was a linebacker and also saw some time on special teams. He played in every game during his four years, making 90 tackles, 52 of them during his senior year, when he also had three interceptions, returning one for a touchdown…Got involved in rodeo when he was a teenager, when Kyle and Paul Hughes showed him how to steer wrestle. His first rodeo competition was in 1998…He was raised on a ranch, but his family was involved in other sports, with his dad serving as a coach. Parents, Rich and Cindy, are both schoolteachers. He has one sister, Casey Yahn … Travels with Ken Lewis, Gabe Ledoux and Seth Brockman…Missed six months of competition after surgery in December 2008 to repair a torn pectoral muscle, before entering June 2009 rodeos in Cedar City, Utah, and Pleasant Grove, Utah...Graduated from Fowler (Colo.) High School in a class of 27 students…Favorite sports team is the Denver Broncos, favorite rodeo is the Pendleton (Ore) Round-Up, favorite food is steak, favorite type of music is old country and favorite movie is Lonesome Dove
