• 2007: Won Rounds 5, 9 and 10 at the Wrangler NFR on his way to winning the average title with a record 846 points on 10 head; his earnings of $116,214 in Las Vegas allowed him to move from 10th to second in the world standings with $190,632. His 91.5 points on Mosbrucker’s Magic Wars in Round 10 tied the Wrangler NFR record set earlier in the 2007 NFR by Justin McDaniel. Won the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show and Rodeo; the Dodge City (Kan.) Roundup and the Lea County Fair & Rodeo (Lovington, N.M.). Co-champion at the Arcadia All-Florida Championship and the Snake River Stampede (Nampa, Idaho)
• 2006: Won his third world title in record fashion: set a single-season earnings record in bareback riding with $280,227, set a bareback riding NFR earnings record with $128,302, and won the average title with a total score of 821.5 points on 10 head. Placed in nine of 10 rounds, winning the third round with a score of 85 points, the fourth round with an 84.5 and tied for the win in the fifth round with an 87. Finished the regular season with $151,924, then an event record for earnings before the Wrangler NFR. Won the Wrangler ProRodeo Tour Championship (Dallas), his sixth Tour Finale title. Won the Pendleton (Ore.) Round-Up; the Reno (Nev.) Rodeo; the Old Fort Days Rodeo (Fort Smith, Ark.); the Payson (Ariz.) Spring Rodeo and the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo (Denver). Won the Tour Round at the Laughlin (Nev.) River Stampede. Tied for the Tour Round win en route to the average title at the Caldwell (Idaho) Night Rodeo. Co-champion at the Snake River Stampede (Nampa, Idaho) and the Gladewater (Texas) Round-Up Rodeo.
• 2005: Won his second world title with $185,486 in earnings. Placed in six of 10 rounds at the Wrangler NFR en route to his world title and won the Summer Tour Finale (Omaha, Neb.), making him the first contestant in PRCA history to win five Tour Finale titles. Won the Magic Valley Stampede (Filer, Idaho); the Norco (Calif.) Mounted Posse Rodeo; the Farm-City Pro Rodeo (Hermiston, Ore.), That Famous Preston (Idaho) Night Rodeo; the Heart of the North Rodeo (Spooner, Wis.); the Ponoka (Alberta) Stampede; the Beef Empire Days PRCA Rodeo (Garden City, Kan.); the Livermore (Calif.) • 2004: Finished as the world champion runner-up with $179,906. Won Tour Round and average titles at La Fiesta de los Vaqueros (Tucson, Ariz.) and set an arena record with an 89-point ride on Beutler & Son’s Comotion. Won Tour Round at RodeoHouston. Won the Clovis (Calif.) Rodeo; the Mineral Wells (Texas) PRCA Rodeo; the Will Rogers Stampede (Claremore, Okla.) and the Farm-City Pro Rodeo (Hermiston, Ore.); co-champion at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo. Finished second at the Winter Tour Finale (Las Vegas) and won the Tour Championships (Dallas) with an 89-point ride aboard Stace Smith Pro Rodeo’s RD Mercer. • 2003: Won his first world championship and set a record for most money won in a year in bareback riding with $188,247. The previous record was set by Lan LaJeunesse in 2001 with $185,556. Became the first contestant to win all three Tour Finale events (summer, winter and championships); tied the world record at the Summer Tour Finale (Omaha, Neb.) with a 94-point ride on Kesler Rodeo’s Sky Reach.
