Won the all-around title at the College National Finals Rodeo, 2011, after placing fourth in the bareback riding and fifth in the bull riding. Qualified for the CNFR, 2009-10. Received "Nothing' But Try" scholarship from the NIRA Foundation. Won the Southern Region college all-around and bareback riding titles

High School; played baseball there and considered competing as a walk-on at McNeese State University before accepting a rodeo scholarship there … Plans to use his education degree to teach at the high school level and coach baseball … Enjoys hunting, fishing and coaching his brothers in little league baseball in Leesville, La. … Favorite Rodeo is the Cheyenne (Wyo.)
