• 2018: Won the Fort Bend County Fair & Rodeo (Rosenberg, Texas). Co-champion at the All American ProRodeo Finals (Waco, Texas)
• 2017: During Round 10 or the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Costa set in motion a series of events he will remember for the rest of his life. Costa won the round with a 7.8-second run and in the process, took first place in the average with an 81.3-second time on 10 head and became the first Brazilian to win a PRCA Tie-Down Roping world championship with $317,421. 
Costa also won the RAM Top Gun honor by earning $195,519, the most by any single-event competitor at the 2017 WNFR. Won the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo (Denver, Colo.), the West of the the Pecos (Texas) Rodeo, the Strawberry Days Rodeo (Pleasant Grove, Utah), the Parker County Sherriffs Posse Frontier Days and PRCA Rodeo (Weatherford, Texas), the Wrangler Champions Challenge presented by Justin Boots (Rapid City, S.D.) and the Cassia County Fair & Rodeo (Burley, Idaho). Co-champion at the Ram Texas (Waco) Circuit Finals Rodeo, the Wrangler Champions Challenge presented by Justin Boots (Redding, Calif.) and the Four States Fair & Rodeo (Texarkana, Ark.)
• 2016: Won Round 2 and placed in five rounds to rank ninth at the Wrangler NFR. Finished second in the world standings with $208,927. Won Rodeo Austin (Texas), the Home of Champions Rodeo (Red Lodge, Mont.), the Four States Fair & Rodeo (Texarkana, Ark.) and the Redding (Calif.) Rodeo Champion Challenge presented by Justin Boots. Co-champion at the Horse Heaven Round-up Wranglers Champions Challenge presented by Justin Boots (Kennewick, Wash.), the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Oakley City, Utah) and the Four States Fair & Rodeo (Texarkana, Ark.)
• 2015: Placed in three rounds at his first Wrangler NFR. Won the World’s Oldest Rodeo (Prescott, Ariz.), the Clark County Fair & Rodeo (Logandale, Nev.), the Old Fort Days Rodeo (Fort Smith, Ark.) and the Walla Walla (Wash.) Frontier Days. Finished 11th in the world standings with $148,073
• 2014: Won the Justin Boots Playoffs (Puyallup, Wash.) and the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo (Vernal, Utah); finished second in the rookie standings to John “Catfish” Brown after breaking his left ankle on his first run at the Pendleton (Ore.) Round-Up in September. Finished 31st in the world standings with $39,672
