Round-Up is his favorite rodeo because he’s from northern California, so it feels like home, his friends are all there and “they treat the cowboys great” … Looks up to seven-time world champion team roper Clay O’Brien Cooper … Prefers to travel alone to rodeos with his dogs, Oakie and Wiley, so he can keep focused … Has two superstitions when it comes to rodeo: never keeping change or $50 bills in his pocket, and he will throw away new shirts, new ropes or new gloves if he doesn’t rope well after getting them … Graduated from Venture Academy Family of Schools (Stockton, Calif.) in 2009 … Shoes and trains horses for a living and to stay in shape … Enjoys being around horses, dogs and animals in general … Likes to watch the San Diego Chargers and Minnesota Vikings … Enjoys roping a dummy, playing golf, hanging out with his friends and his dogs while traveling to rodeos … Favorite food is In-N-Out Burger … Favorite movie is Lonesome Dove
