• 2015: Won the Rotary Rodeo (Starkville, Miss.). Ranked 14th in the RAM Rodeo Permit Standings with $3,853.
• 2014: Won the NE Mississippi Championship Rodeo (Tupelo, Miss.); Paul Briggs Memorial Pro Rodeo (Fletcher, N.C.); Imboden (Ark.) PRCA Rodeo; Seven Clans PRCA Rodeo (Cherokee, N.C.); and Crowley’s Ridge Saddle Club Charity Rodeo (Forrest City, Ark.). Split the win with Jon Luse at the Indiantown (Fla.) Rodeo. Ranked fourth in the RAM Rodeo Permit Standings with $15,452.
• 2013: Won Lowry’s 4L Ranch Rodeo (Summerville, Ga.); and Pioneer City Rodeo (Palestine, Ill.). Split the win with Blade Elliott at the Harris County Cattlemen’s PRCA Rodeo (Hamilton, Ga.).

5-10, 185 … Parents Jamey and Beth Phipps, older brother is Hayden Phipps … Started competing in rodeo when he was 6-7 years old since his entire family is involved in rodeo, then got more involved in high school and college … Graduated from Southeast Whitfield High School (Dalton, Ga.) in 2010 with a class of 330 students … earned his associate’s degree at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (Tifton, Ga.), then a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s in agribusiness from University of Tennessee-Martin … His dad is a mason and his mom is a school teacher … Both his dad and his cousin, Chad Phipps, competed in PRCA bull riding … Enjoys starting horses, trading horses and owns four or five horses … Says the Days of ’47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo at Salt Lake City in 2017 was his best competition since it gave him a big boost in the world standings … Three Hills Rodeo’s Junior Bonner is his favorite bronc to draw and his dream draw is Pete Carr’s Classic Pro Rodeo’s Wise Guy … The Arcadia All-Fla Championship Rodeo is his favorite because “it’s a big circuit rodeo, the horses buck and it’s always sunny” … Lifts weights three or four times a week to keep up with rodeo … Likes all kinds of food … Enjoys watching wrestling … The Bible is his favorite book, “Lonesome Dove” is his favorite movie … Enjoys listening to George Strait … Likes to check out national parks when traveling to rodeos.
