Ace is attending Texas A&M on an academic scholarship through the Terry Foundation ... Born Jacey Clay, but has always gone by Ace ... Family operates Tod Slone Saddles Inc. (www.slonesaddles.com) ... Played running back and strong safety on the Cuero (Texas) High School football team; team played for state 3A championship in his sophomore year.  Recognized as Texas High School Spotlight Player with full page spread in Texas Football magazine entering junior season. Also played as an infielder on the Cuero High team; leading Victoria, Texas-area in batting average one year and stolen bases three years; played varsity baseball all four years.
