Personal
6-0, 180 ... Wife, Rosie ... Hobbies include training roping horses … C.R. stands for Clark Richard … Got involved in rodeo through his parents. His mom trains English horses and his father trains reining horses. His father teaches at the University of Finley in the equine program and C.R. roped for fun when growing up. He competed in high school and college rodeo … His horse, Roanie, is a three-time world champion AQHA calf horse that he raised and that finished third in the 2004 PRCA/AQHA Horse of the Year voting … Always wanted to be like Roy Cooper and Donnie Gay, but after riding a few calves, he decided he didn’t want to be a bull rider like Gay so he stuck with roping and trying to be like Cooper. Other rodeo idols include Joe Beaver and Mike Johnson
